Know Your Enemies – New Shirt for sale at TEEFURY today!
Hey fellas, here´s a new shirt by YAWN for sale at http://www.teefury.com/ today. It´s their first GLOW IN THE DARK shirt. :)We were thinking of making a design based on comics/cartoons where someone goes through the woods and feels there’s some danger around him and the first thing he sees of his enemy are the glowing eyes in the wood. We were playing a lot of Mario Galaxy at this time so those two ideas kind of merged into each other.

I want to be a unicoooooorn!
We have a new shirt up for voting on Threadless. We appreciate any votes! How can you resist a wannabe-unicorn? ;)
This shirt should be printed with UV-ink. It is a horse inside but when you get outside and uv-light hits the shirt it transforms into a unicorn and colored clouds materialize!

Dortmund / Pott / The World / Bohemians
Some friends of us are organizing a exhibition somewhere in Dortmund. We don´t know much about it, because it´s still some kind of secret, but every artist is free to join the exhibition. Send your stuff to: info@popstuff.net - YAWN will be there. We hope to see some more Nerds. Off.
Some words from their manifesto:
BOHÈME PRÉCAIRE ist so ein Experiment, und wir laden Euch herzlich ein, zum Puzzlestück eines neuen Versuchsaufbaus zu werden. Am 23. Oktober 2009 (Freitag) kombinieren wir die entrückenden Momente einer Ausstellung mit den treibenden Ausschweifungen einer Party. Dieses Extrakt darf als KickOff für die neue und offene Internetplattform BOHÈME PRÉCAIRE verstanden werden, die auch Namenspatin für unsere Veranstaltung ist und Dortmund auf der Reise zur Kulturhauptstadt 2010 begleiten wird. Natürlich auf ihre ganz eigene, charmante Art und Weise. Unser neuer Hybrid aus Kunst und Tanzen wird in 2009 übrigens das einzige (!) Zusammentreffen dieser Art sein. Wiederholung nicht ausgeschlossen, dann aber erst im kommenden Jahr.
Um BOHÈME PRÉCAIRE hinauf ins Labor zu bringen, haben sich gleich mehrere Kollektive zusammengefunden, die ihre Ideen von Kunst und Musik kombinieren und daraus etwas Neues, eigenständiges machen werden.
Das visuelle Programm des Abends wird von den Dortmunder Gruppen Heimatdesign, Plankton,Animalism und den Kölner Jungkuratoren vom Kunstfestival Hug me, heimlich zusammengestellt. Gezeigt wird eine bemerkenswerte Mischung aus Malerei, Fotografie, Design und Videokunst von jungen Künstlern aus dem Ruhrgebiet/ NRW. Das ist der Schwerpunkt und gleichzeitig die Idee des Ganzen: nämlich der heimischen kreativen Szene ein neues, frisches Forum zu bieten. Ausschlusskriterium ist dieser Gedanke jedoch keinesfalls! So wird es – soviel sei an dieser Stelle schon verraten – z.B. auch junge Fotokunst aus Berlin zu sehen geben. Und vieles, vieles mehr… Über das gesamte Programm der Ausstellung kann man sich in Kürze – nach und nach – auf www.bohemeprecaire.de informieren. Genauso wie über das exakte DJ-Line-up der Nacht.
